Summary of Activities

The Visit Korea Committee was organized for the purpose of promoting the 2010—2012 Visit Korea Year Campaign projects under private-sector leadership. It is assisted when necessary by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization. The committee itself is composed of representatives from tourism, economy, culture, and academia-related companies and institutions, including airlines, hoteliers, restaurateurs, travel agencies and regional tourism boards.
