Korean Air is promoting New Zealand on the main page of it's website.
The interactive promotion has a range of different videos showcasing the wonder of New Zealand, under the headings energy, courage, peace and a comfort.
Places featured include Auckland Harbor, Minus 5 Lounge Bar, Mokai Gravity Canyon near Taihape and Ahuriri River.
This is a good opportunity to see how a Korean company chooses to market New Zealand.

The earthquake that struck the Canterbury region early on Saturday morning is particularly distressing to many New Zealanders and friends of New Zealand around the world including in Korea. Fortunately no lives were lost, and although property damage is substantial, New Zealand’s strict building codes have prevented far more extensive damage from what was a very large earthquake.
Most damage appears to have been to older buildings in the central district of Christchurch, although there is also damage to buildings in outlying towns and suburbs, as well as roads and rail lines, water and sewage systems to some areas. The Christchurch City Council has taken steps to assess and control access to damaged buildings which means that the CBD area has been cordoned off and businesses there are shut until damage can be fully assessed. However most buildings and facilities in Christchurch and the Canterbury region are safe. Roads and rail lines have been checked and while delays are expected through some areas, key transport infrastructure including Lyttelton port and Christchurch airport are open and fully operational.
Many businesses in Canterbury will be assessing damage to facilities and stock, and may be under-staffed as employees manage damage to their homes over the next few days. This means that contact with businesses in the region may be a little difficult for a period. However, business associations report confidently that activity will be back to normal levels in a short time.
It is also important to be aware that damage has been restricted to the Canterbury region and elsewhere in New Zealand it is business as usual.
Peter Thomas
Chairman
