Thank you for your interest in our 11th New Zealand Wine Festival Seoul!
The Kiwi Chamber will once again host a set of wine festivals in Seoul and Busan this year under the theme “Flavours of New Zealand.” This year is about reconnecting with your favorites and discovering captivating new varieties.
New Zealand is a unique country and we are proud and inspired by the strength of our winemaking heritage but also our place in the world today as a leader of winemaking innovation and sustainable practices.
The New Zealand Wine Festival will showcase New Zealand’s dynamic wine & food and allow the Korean people to discover the unique diversity of New Zealand wine regions, varieties, and styles. And it will provide a platform for a greater perspective in supporting the recognition of New Zealand wine in Korea.
In creating a pure New Zealand experience, the venue will offer a superb Kiwi-themed gastronomic experience coupled with the finest service, including a casual outdoor BBQ-style buffet. As a special treat, the Seoul event will feature a hangi – a traditional New Zealand Maori feast. Laying a hangi involves digging a pit in the ground and heating stones with a large fire. Food is then placed in baskets on top of the stones and covered with earth for several hours before lifting the hangi to be served.
